Rarely, if ever, has the greater Hartford area been host to a nationally acclaimed gay men’s chorus. The 175 voices of the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus will perform both classical and popular works, and will sing a world premiere. During their Boston season, the Chorus sings in Boston’s most well-known venues, including Symphony Hall. They have sung in Europe, and in many of this country’s most prestigious halls with appearances at Carnegie Hall in New York and Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco among many others. Singing repertoire of all periods and in many styles, they have commissioned more than a dozen works from nationally prominent composers such as Daniel Pinkham, David Conte and Libby Larsen.
